The 2019 Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors would like to thank Diamond Sweets Café for hosting our first monthly mixer of the year. The tasty treats along with smiling faces make this café a great addition to the area and we cannot wait to see their continued success. The Board would like to thank the representatives from the offices of Senator Anthony Portantino, County Supervisor Kathryn Barger and Representative Adam Schiff who attended. Additionally, it was great to have an opportunity to engage with many of the candidates running for seats on the Sunland Tujunga Neighborhood Council. Janelle Hussion, Hrant Vartzbedian, Glen Belt, Nancy Shannon, Sevada Hemelians, Rick Ramirez, Oscar Alvarez Carol Hutchinson and Pati McArdle Potter were in attendance. Finally, we would like to thank Sally Hall, Mike Perry, Sunland Printing and SIG property management for providing great raffle prizes! We look forward to many more opportunities to get together.
