 Hello, and welcome to our website!
It is an honor to serve as 2008 President of the Sunland-Tujunga Chamber of Commerce.
Building on the dedicated work of the previous Board and its predecessors over the years,
the Chamber is in a position to continue confidently moving ahead. We are fortunate to
have a strong working relationship with our Government Officials and the Neighborhood
Council of Sunland-Tujunga who have encouraged our growth over the years, and the new
Board of Directors is at work establishing priorities for the future.
Sunland-Tujunga is fortunate to have a solid base of experienced local business members
within the community from Sunland-Tujunga, Shadow Hills and Lake View Terrace to serve on
the Board of Directors. With our pooled resources, valued volunteers, and our wonderful
office manager, we will continue to expand our services and opportunities to our members.
Here at the Sunland-Tujunga Chamber of Commerce we are "dedicated to promoting, enhancing
and facilitating business in our community". We are also active members of the
United Chambers of Commerce of San Fernando. It is important to note that 80% of the
businesses in the United States today are small to medium businesses. They form the
economic engine of our country. Chambers of Commerce throughout the San Fernando Valley and
all across the United States are committed to being the voice of business and have become a
strong advocacy group for their members that is heard and acknowledged by government and the media.
The Sunland-Tujunga Chamber of Commerce supports a vibrant and diverse local economy, and is
also dedicated to preserving the attractive, residential nature of Sunland-Tujunga.
To retain and enhance the vitality of the commercial areas of Sunland, Tujunga, Shadow Hills
and Lake View Terrace, the Sunland-Tujunga Chamber of Commerce strives to meet the needs of
both the businesses and the residents.
